Jan 4th~

New roommates! This past weekend we moved Kyleigh into Jurni's room. Kallista (our oldest) used to share a room with Kyleigh but wrote a convincing letter for us in December as to why she should have her own room. We couldn't say no so we made the switch and now everyone is happy. Here are the girls hanging out in their "new" rooms.

And a special thanks to daddy for his help and hard work with those fun beds ;)

Jan 3rd~

This Sunday morning I cooked a nice breakfast for my family. Winter break has come to and end, the kids will go back to school and the daddy will go back to work :(. I made Huevos Rancheros (for the first time, yum!), refried beans, bacon and flour tortillas. I really enjoyed hibernating with these people the past two weeks!

Jan 2nd~

Today I put the final touches on my entry way mini-makeover.
Here is the before:

And here it is now:
I used two arm chairs from our old kitchen table set (re-painted and scuffed them up a bit), left over curtains from the kitchen, painted this gold table my mother gave me and found this cute lamp at Kirklands on sale for $10.99. Viola extra sitting room created.

Jan 1st~

Happy New Year! From our family to yours, here is to a prosperous New Year for us all!
Thank you Kyleigh for the display you created for our entry way :)

The Game of MASH

Remember this game? How can you forget it?! That crush, the anticipation of who you'd marry, how many kids you'd have, what type of place you'd be living in (oh not the dreaded shack), all too funny. Well my children have discovered this game AND we found an app for it on the iPhone SO...lots of MASH playing going on around here. :-)

So here's my story:
After graduating Texas (Todd would be so proud I even chose the burnt orange school), you will marry Michael (that is Todd's first real name, I had to get create 'cause you can't pick the same person three times), and settle down in Lucca (the amazing village we were fortunate enough to visit while in Italy) in your mansion (yay! wow!) with 5 kids. You will spend your days as a Designer living happily ever after.

Now let's see...how we make this little dream come true. ha!
